On December 31, 2025, specialists from the St. Petersburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Tsok Agroindustrial Complex” controlled the shipment of wheat to Kenya - Russian grain was sent to this country from the port of Vysotsk in the Leningrad region for the first time. The weight of the batch was 44 thousand tons.
Laboratory tests confirmed that the wheat fully complies with the requirements set by Kenya.
“Kenya became the 18th country of export of grain products for our branch in 2025, of which 9 are African countries, which confirms the interest of African states in Russian grain and the development of logistics routes for its export through the ports of the Baltic Sea,” noted Anita Milekhina, director of the St. Petersburg branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Center of Agriculture and Industrial Complex”.
In total, in 2025, specialists from the testing laboratory of the St. Petersburg branch controlled the export of over 1.8 million tons of grain products. The key crop in the supply structure is traditionally wheat, which accounted for 78% of the total volume, which exceeds 1.3 million tons.
