Wheat exports in December 2025 will reach 4.4 million tons (4 million tons as of December 29), reports the Rusagrotrans analytical center (part of Demetra-Holding). In general, from July to December 2025, exports will reach about 26.7 million tons, while the share of wheat shipped by railway transport for export will be 42% or 11.33 million tons, which is a record for the first half of the season (in July-December 2023 - 11.30 million tons or 41%).
Since September, monthly wheat exports have been at a record pace. This level of export by rail is ensured by supplies from the Center - 3.3 million tons, the Volga region 2 million tons (record) and Siberia - 1.6 million tons (record).
Prices for Russian wheat with protein 12.5% for delivery in January decreased for the second week in a row and reached $225-227/t FOB (-$1.5/t compared to the previous week). The price of American wheat increased to $230/t (+$2/t), French - to $228/t (+$2/t), Ukrainian 11.5% - to $227/t (+$1/t), Argentinean - to $214/t (+$1/t), Romanian wheat remained at the same level - $232/t.
Prices for wheat (4 grades, 12.5% protein) in deep-sea ports when delivered by road also decreased - to 15,200-15,300 rubles/t without VAT (-100 rubles/t), when delivered by rail they remained at 16,000 rubles/t. At low water prices strengthened to 14,500 rubles/t (+100 rubles/t).
