The share of grain in Russian exports of agricultural products should decrease to 25% by 2030, said Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut.
“By 2030, we want to reduce the grain group to 25% in our exports. <...> Considering that we must reach 25% in the grain group, everything else is already products with one degree or another of processing,” TASS quotes Lut as saying.
At the end of 2025, exports of agricultural products with high added value increased by 8% and amounted to $19 billion.
The minister also said that in general Russia exports agricultural products to about 160 countries.
“We strive to ensure that the number of exporters increases, the number of countries and the number of products increase in our diversification. So that if we have a situation, for example, with the grain market, such as it was last year, so that we do not lose export volumes,” she added.
