In January–June 2026 (excluding data for the EAEU countries for June), Russia exported about 24 thousand tons of rice worth about $17 million. Compared to the same period last year, the volume of supplies increased 2.3 times in weight and 1.9 times in money, reports the federal center Agroexport.

More than 86% of export earnings were provided by rice grains (semi-hulled or fully hulled rice). In second place is husked rice (9%), in third place is broken rice (3%).
From July 21, Russia lifted export restrictions on paddy rice, for which there was previously a quota of 200 thousand tons. For the first half of 2026 (excluding data for the EAEU countries for June), exports of raw rice amounted to about 500 tons.
