In August, Russia tripled wheat exports to South Korea compared to the same period last year - deliveries reached $8 million, reports RIA Novosti with reference to data from South Korean customs.
At the same time, corn exports decreased noticeably: supplies were eight times less than at the end of last summer - by $159 thousand.
Also in August, Russia exported barley to South Korea for $299 thousand (this type of grain was not supplied there last August).
Based on the results of August, Russia took fourth place in the ranking of the largest suppliers of wheat to South Korea. Australia ranks first, providing half of the country's import needs ($53.6 million).
