Russia has no problems with exporting grain, head of the Ministry of Agriculture Oksana Lut said on September 12, reports the Yunashev Live Telegram channel.
According to the minister, new logistics routes through the Baltic and Caspian Sea have already been used for deliveries, along which millions of tons of grain are transported to buyers. Fears regarding possible restrictions on the transit of Russian grain through Kazakhstan, according to her, were not confirmed: the partners assured that they do not plan to introduce such measures.
The Ministry of Agriculture is also developing routes through the Far East, which were previously almost never used for grain export. In addition, the possibility of transiting Russian grain through its territory for subsequent deliveries to the countries of Southeast Asia is being discussed with China.
Earlier, Lut reported that in the summer, due to the situation in the Azov-Black Sea basin, difficulties arose with the sale of grain. Against this background, the Ministry of Agriculture began to rebuild export logistics, adjust export duties and work on additional measures to support farmers.
