The Rusagrotrans analytical center has specified the forecast for wheat exports from the Russian Federation in September this year, reports Interfax. It is 1.75 million tons. Previously, shipments were estimated at 1.6-2 million tons.
In September 2025, wheat exports from the Russian Federation amounted to 4.9 million tons.
Assessing the situation on the global wheat market for the period from September 1 to 8, analysts noted that on Monday, pressure on the market was exerted by Saudi Arabia’s cancellation of a tender for the purchase of wheat due to high supply prices. “According to some sources, they amounted to $370-380 per ton (C&F), according to others – over $340 per ton (C&F),” the center said.
On Tuesday, stock prices resumed growth amid the ongoing escalation of the situation in the Azov-Black Sea basin, analysts said.
