Contract for corn on the Chicago stock exchange (CBOT, ZC) rose to 536.75 cents/bushel (+0.05%). Price for rice in Chicago (CBOT, ZR) increased to $15.87/cwt (+2.09%).
Russian indicative prices (FOB World Cup):
- wheat - decreased to $227.80/t (-0.04%);
- barley - increased to $191.10/t (+1.16%);
- corn - increased to $222.30/t (+0.77%);
Russian wheat index, CPT Novorossiysk, has not changed - 11,000 rubles/t (0.00%).

RUSSIA GRAIN MARKET NEWS
• As of September 4, Russia had harvested more than 110 million tons of grain, including 83.5 million tons of wheat, the Ministry of Agriculture reports. About 70% of the area of grain and leguminous crops has been threshed; yields are higher than last year. Winter sowing for the 2027 harvest is proceeding ahead of last year's pace in 44 regions, 2.3 million hectares are sown.
• UGC has begun selecting grain custodians that are planned to be purchased during the upcoming interventions. Competitive selections were announced in 14 regions (Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Tambov, Ryazan, Volgograd, Rostov, Orenburg, Penza, Samara, Saratov, Ulyanovsk regions).
