Latvia and Lithuania are considering the possibility of stopping the transportation of Russian grain through their ports. This statement was made by the agency Reuters, reports TASS.
According to the agency, the Latvian government will hold a meeting on September 8 to discuss the possibility of a complete ban on Russian grain exports through the country.
Lithuania, in turn, stated that the export of Russian grain through its ports is unacceptable, although it has not yet named specific measures. “The export of Russian grain using Lithuanian infrastructure contradicts our values,” the agency quotes the country’s Prime Minister Mindaugas Sinkevičius as saying.
