According to departmental monitoring data from the Russian Ministry of Agriculture as of January 1, grain reserves (including grains and leguminous crops) in the Kemerovo region amount to 1.06 million tons. This exceeds the same figure last year by 31%.
There are 314.72 thousand tons of milling wheat of the 1st–3rd classes (+33.3% compared to last year’s level), 4th class milling wheat - 151.81 thousand tons (+46.2%), feed wheat - 203 thousand tons (+9.5%), barley - 223.25 thousand tons (+47.79%), rye - 9.83 thousand tons (+34.1%), buckwheat - 13.3 thousand tons (-3%), corn - 4.31 thousand tons (an increase of more than 7 times).
