During the period from July 21 to December 10, 2025, specialists from the Altai branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “TsK Agroindustrial Complex” conducted state monitoring of soft and durum wheat, performing 90.9 thousand laboratory tests of grain samples. The samples were taken from shipments totaling 3.3 million tons, representing 82% of the total harvest in the region.
By December 10, testing laboratory specialists needed to take about 4.8 thousand samples in 62 districts of the Altai Territory.
Laboratory tests of soft varieties showed the following distribution: 1.3 million tons were classified as high-quality grain of the 3rd class (41.2% of the tested volume), 1.36 million tons (43.2%) were recorded in the 4th class, 479 thousand tons (15%) of the 5th class. Preliminary results of state grain monitoring indicate that over 84% of the wheat harvest in the Altai Territory that has passed the examination is food grain.
The test results were entered into the federal state information system for traceability of grain and processed products (FSIS “Grain”).
