Based on the results of 11 months of 2025, the Russian Federation retained its leadership in wheat supplies to the world market. Grain and its processed products were exported to more than 100 countries, reports Finmarket with reference to the Federal Center for Assessment of Safety and Quality of Agro-Industrial Products (CSC AIC). The center confirms the compliance of Russian grain with the requirements of importing countries.
“Over the 11 months of 2025, the laboratories of the CSC of the agro-industrial complex tested the quality and safety of about 50 million tons of exported grain products; shipments of Russian grain and its processed products under the supervision of specialists were carried out to more than 100 countries of the world,” the center said in a statement.
The center called one of the significant events of the past year the extension for three years of accreditation of laboratories of five branches (Moscow, Novorossiysk, Donskoy, Primorsky and Omsk) to confirm the conformity of grain products for export to Indonesia. One of the achievements was also the expansion of the geography of product shipments from the ports of the Leningrad region. Thus, from the port of Vysotsk, wheat was shipped for the first time to Turkey (72 thousand tons) and Israel (103 thousand tons), barley - to Libya (56 thousand tons) and Israel (30 thousand tons), peas - to China (47 thousand tons). From the port of Ust-Luga, shipments of wheat began to Togo (27 thousand tons) and Egypt (27 thousand tons), barley to Saudi Arabia (69 thousand tons).
The center also reported that from the ports of the Krasnodar Territory, for the first time after a one-year break, 320 thousand tons of wheat were sent to Iraq, after a seven-year break - 32 thousand tons of barley to Egypt, also after a seven-year break - 20 thousand tons of barley to Niger and 8 thousand tons to the Republic of Congo after a three-year break. For the first time, 1.4 thousand tons of wheat were shipped to Bolivia within the framework of the UN World Food Program (WFP).
In addition, for the first time, wheat was shipped from the port of Rostov-on-Don to Algeria (20 thousand tons), flaxseed cake to Turkey (12 thousand tons), and barley to Albania (3 thousand tons).
