Agrarians of the Saratov region have begun harvesting spring grain crops, the regional Ministry of Agriculture reported. In the Perelyubsky district, the first 200 tons of spring wheat were threshed at a yield of 20 c/ha, and the harvest of spring barley reached 2 thousand tons at 14.6 c/ha.
As of July 27, winter grains were harvested from more than half of the areas, the gross harvest amounted to 1.882 million tons with an average yield of 30.8 c/ha.
