In seven regions of Bashkiria, a regional emergency regime has been introduced due to the destruction of part of the crops. The corresponding order was signed by the head of the republic, Radiy Khabirov, reports RBC.
A state of emergency has been declared in Blagovarsky, Buzdyaksky, Krasnokamsky, Tatyshlinsky, Ufa, Chishminsky and Yanaulsky districts. The cause was summer downpours, hail and waterlogging of the soil.
“Recognize the situation that has developed in the territories of municipal districts in connection with the destruction of agricultural crops as a result of the impact of hazardous meteorological phenomena (waterlogging, heavy rain, strong wind and large hail) in the period from July 7 to August 31, 2026, as an emergency situation,” the document says.
For the unified state system for preventing and responding to emergency situations, the emergency regime will be in effect until September 30. The Ministry of Agriculture and district administrations have been instructed to ensure the implementation of a plan to mitigate the consequences of crop loss. Farm managers and farmers must submit documents to the Ministry of Agriculture by September 25 substantiating the damage from the death of crops and the costs of growing them.
A state of emergency due to waterlogging has been introduced in the republic for the third year in a row. In October 2025, it was announced in 11 districts. In August 2024, a state of emergency was declared in 50 districts and one urban district.
