The grain harvest in the Siberian Federal District amounted to almost 19 million tons in 2025, Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the District Anatoly Seryshev said at the final meeting.
“This is not the first year that our Siberian farmers have demonstrated record harvests. This year we harvested almost 19 million tons of grain. The yield per hectare is comparable to the traditionally agricultural regions of the country,” he said, TASS reports.
The plenipotentiary noted that exports in the district this year also increased by 3%. “A worthy result. Relations have been established with the countries of Asia and South America. The products are in great demand,” he emphasized.
In 2024, despite difficult weather conditions, Siberian farmers harvested about 17 million tons of grain, which is 12% more than in 2023.
